Meghan’s video reveals charming link between Sussex and Wales children
through beloved toy brand
Despite the ongoing tensions between Prince William and Prince Harry, their
children appear to share an unexpected bond—one that has nothing to do with
royal titles and everything to do with childhood favorites.
In Meghan Markle’s recent behind-the-scenes video for her lifestyle brand As
Ever, fans caught a rare glimpse of Princess Lilibet, now four, carrying a
plush rainbow bag by Jellycat, a beloved British brand known for its whimsical
soft toys.
Though Lilibet and her brother Archie have had little to no contact with their
royal cousins—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—the Jellycat
bag revealed a surprising common thread. The Wales children are also known
fans of the brand.
During a Buckingham Palace garden party in May, Prince William was gifted two
Jellycat toys and remarked, “These are like gold dust. My children go crazy
for these things. This is children’s currency.” Princess Charlotte was even
photographed holding a Jellycat Fuddlewuddle Puppy when she was just six
months old.
While the physical distance and royal rift continue to separate the two
families, this simple shared love for a London-based plush toy line has
touched royal fans—offering a subtle reminder that childhood innocence can
still forge invisible links where adult tensions persist.
