Prince William’s Powerful Message on European Security Shared During ‘Proud’ Moment in Estonia

Kensington Palace highlights future King’s military visit amid rising
global tensions

Prince William has shared a powerful message following a key meeting during
his official visit to Estonia, where he underscored the importance of unity
and defence in the face of growing political unrest.

Dressed in military uniform, the Prince of Wales visited Tapa Camp—just 80
miles from the Russian border—where British troops are stationed as part of
NATO’s Operation CABRIT.

Kensington Palace released a striking group photo from the visit, along with a
message from William:

“Proud to be Colonel-in-Chief of the Mercian Regiment, as they take over from
the Royal Dragoon Guards in Estonia for Operation CABRIT. Their work,
alongside our Estonian partners and NATO allies, strengthens the defence of
Europe’s eastern flank.”

A Palace spokesperson added, “For many, this is a return to Operation CABRIT,
bringing vital experience and resilience to the mission. Grateful to our
Estonian hosts and all who make this deployment possible, including families
and support staff.”

The statement follows William’s recent meeting with Estonian President Alar
Karis and reflects his increasing presence on the global stage, as he
continues to take on more prominent leadership roles within the monarchy.
