Lip reader claims expose Duke’s frustrations amid deepening royal rift
Prince Harry is once again at the centre of royal controversy as new claims emerge about his candid remarks during King Charles’ coronation — and fresh tensions surrounding the monarch’s recent health scare.
According to The Sun, lip reader Jeremy Freeman has alleged that Harry voiced his frustration with the royal family while speaking to Jack Brooksbank, husband of his cousin, during the landmark ceremony. “I’m fed up with the way they treat me,” Harry reportedly said, adding, “It’s not an ideal situation.”
Brooksbank allegedly attempted to comfort him, replying, “It’s not the quiet life, is it?” Harry is also claimed to have shaken his head and said, “They don’t care.” The exchange continued with Brooksbank saying, “I haven’t time for that,” before Harry concluded, “It’s an eventuality.”
The comments are believed to reflect Harry’s growing discontent with his strained relationship with both his father and brother, Prince William. The alleged exchange has surfaced at a sensitive time — following the news that King Charles recently underwent a hospital visit without informing Harry directly.
Unlike the initial cancer diagnosis, which the King personally relayed to his son, this time Harry reportedly learned of the development through media outlets. The apparent snub has only added to the sense of detachment between the Duke and the rest of the royal family.
These revelations follow Harry’s controversial resignation from Sentebale, the charity he co-founded, marking yet another severed link to his past life in the UK and the monarchy.
