Duke and Duchess post sweet video of family outing to mark daughter’s
fourth birthday
Harry and Meghan Markle marked their daughter’s fourth birthday with a joyful
family trip to Disneyland — and shared the highlights with fans online.
On 6 June, Meghan released a video showing the Duke, the Duchess, and their
children enjoying rides and meeting characters at the iconic theme park.
Among the heartwarming moments was a family photo in which Meghan placed heart
emojis over the children’s faces. Another image captured a mermaid-themed
birthday cake, complete with Happy Birthday Lili written across it.
“Thank you @disneyland for giving our family two days of pure joy!” Meghan
captioned the post.
The release of these family moments comes in the wake of online backlash over
a resurfaced video of Meghan and Harry dancing together during her pregnancy
with their daughter. The clip, originally filmed in hospital and set to the
viral Baby Momma Dance TikTok trend, recently drew criticism from some social
media users who labelled it “cringe.”
Reflecting on the moment, Meghan wrote: “Four years ago today, this also
happened. Both of our children were a week past their due dates… so when spicy
food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn’t work – there was only one thing
left to do!”
Despite the recent criticism, the Sussexes’ Disneyland outing struck a more
positive tone with fans celebrating their latest family milestone.
