Prince George and Prince Louis delighted royal fans with a tender brotherly
moment during the 2025 Trooping the Colour, adding a touch of childhood warmth
to the grand occasion marking King Charles’s official birthday.
The young royals, aged 11 and 7, were seen departing Buckingham Palace in a
carriage alongside their mother, Princess Catherine, and sister Princess
Charlotte. As their carriage made its way to Horse Guards Parade, a lip reader
caught an endearing exchange between the two brothers.
According to The Sun, Louis turned to George and asked, “Should I wave?” to
which George replied gently, “It’s up to you.” Moments later, George looked at
the sky and commented, “I can’t believe how sunny it is.” Encouraged by his
older brother’s calm confidence, Louis smiled and said, “Let’s do it
together,” before the pair waved in unison to the cheering crowds.
Their close bond was also mirrored in their appearance—both wore matching red
ties, subtly echoing the scarlet hue of their father Prince William’s Welsh
Guards uniform. George also debuted a smart new haircut, completing his
polished look.
Princess Catherine and Princess Charlotte twinned in elegant aqua blue
outfits, each accented with sparkling pins. Charlotte’s look was further
elevated by a sentimental diamond horseshoe brooch once worn by the Queen
Mother.
