Duchess of Sussex posts cheerful video as royal family reunites without
the Sussexes
Meghan Markle delighted fans with a rare Easter greeting on social media,
sharing a joyful video message just as Prince Harry’s concerns for their
children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, came to light.
The Duchess of Sussex appeared radiant in a stylish white dress in the short
clip, which showed her admiring a mama duck leading her ducklings. “Wishing
you a Happy Easter full of love… and surprises!” Meghan captioned the video on
Instagram.
Her Easter message came as the royal family gathered at St George’s Chapel for
their traditional Easter service—an event notably missing the Sussexes. King
Charles and Queen Camilla were joined by other senior royals, while Meghan and
Harry’s absence was felt by many supporters.
Reports suggest Harry felt emotional over missing the family tradition,
particularly for his children. Royal commentator Tom Quinn previously noted,
“What’s really going to upset Harry this year is that his children will miss
out on the Easter egg hunt that takes place afterwards.”
The Easter post offered a brief yet uplifting moment from Meghan, contrasting
with Harry’s ongoing reflections about their children being distanced from
royal customs.
