Meghan Markle appeared to send a quiet yet pointed message to Prince William
after news broke that he would feature in an upcoming episode of Clarkson’s
Farm—a show hosted by Jeremy Clarkson, known for his past controversial
remarks about the Duchess.
Just hours after the announcement, Meghan shared photos from an evening she
and Prince Harry spent at a James Taylor concert. One image showed her getting
the musician’s lullaby book Sweet Baby James signed—reportedly for their
children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. Another photo showed the couple
smiling alongside the six-time Grammy winner.
“In my concert era,” Meghan captioned the post with heart and music note
emojis, adding, “Thanks James!”
The timing of the post raised eyebrows, coming shortly after William’s
association with Clarkson became public. Clarkson previously faced backlash
for a column in The Sun where he wrote he “hated” Meghan and referenced a
humiliating scene from Game of Thrones—comments he later apologized for, but
which Harry condemned as dangerous.
By sharing cheerful, family-oriented moments at this specific time, Meghan’s
post is being interpreted by some as a subtle message that she and Harry
