Duchess shares rare personal moments as she reflects on motherhood and
love on wedding anniversary
Meghan Markle has made an emotional revelation about how her son, Prince
Archie, transformed her and Harry’s world, sharing heartfelt details and
never-before-seen photos in celebration of their seventh wedding anniversary
on Monday, May 19.
Posting to her official Instagram, the Duchess of Sussex offered a rare look
into the private moments that have defined her journey into motherhood. Among
the images was a touching photo of baby Archie just hours after his birth at
London’s Portland Hospital, lovingly cradled by new father Harry.
Other intimate snapshots included Meghan’s baby bump during her first
pregnancy and a sonogram image, capturing the early days of what she described
as a life-changing experience.
“Motherhood changed everything,” Meghan reflected, sharing how welcoming
Archie in May 2019 brought immense love and joy into their lives. The couple
famously kept his birth private, with no traditional hospital photocall,
instead introducing him to the world two days later at Windsor Castle.
Prince Harry echoed those emotions in past interviews and his memoir Spare,
writing about their emotional first moments as parents: “A healthy little boy,
and he was here. We both cried to see him, meet him.”
