Meghan Markle appears to have made a definitive choice regarding her ties with King Charles and the royal family, signalling her independence with the unveiling of her new lifestyle brand, As Ever.
The Duchess of Sussex surprised royal commentators and fans alike with the announcement, which many interpret as a clear indication that Meghan feels confident and powerful without royal connections. “I’m thrilled to introduce you to As Ever — a brand that I created and have poured my heart into,” she declared.
This latest move has sparked fresh speculation among royal experts and critics, with some believing Meghan’s decision means she has no plans to return to the royal fold—even if King Charles or the future monarch were open to reconciliation.
Outspoken royal author Angela Levin criticised Meghan following the brand launch, posting on X (formerly Twitter), “Meghan shows no sign of gratitude to the Royal Family who made her known worldwide and have vast amounts of money. Give up her title? Oh no. That’s the sort of person she is.”
