Prince William Celebrates Key Achievement as King Charles Unveils Special Project

Monarch marks new era with personal musical tribute for Commonwealth Day

King Charles has made an exciting announcement following Prince William’s
latest milestone, offering a rare glimpse into his personal musical tastes in
a special collaboration with Apple Music.

The show, The King’s Music Room, filmed at Buckingham Palace, features the
monarch sharing a curated playlist of artists he has enjoyed over the years.
According to Apple’s official website, the playlist includes legendary names
such as Bob Marley, Kylie Minogue, and Grace Jones, alongside contemporary
stars like Davido and RAYE.

This unique project has been launched to celebrate Commonwealth Day on March
10, with The King’s Music Room set to be available for free on Apple Music 1.

A trailer released on March 6 features the King reflecting on music’s power to
uplift and comfort.

“Throughout my life, music has meant a great deal to me. I know that is also
the case for so many others. It has that remarkable ability to bring happy
memories flooding back from the deepest recesses of our memory, to comfort us
in times of sadness, and to take us to distant places,” he shared.

The announcement comes as Prince William celebrates a significant achievement,
with his mental health support service Shout reaching three million
conversations—highlighting the future King’s ongoing commitment to mental
well-being.
