Princess Anne joins senior royals to honour global humanitarian efforts
Buckingham Palace has shared a significant update following a key meeting of
senior royal family members. King Charles and Queen Camilla, joined by the
Princess Royal and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, hosted a special
reception at the Palace to celebrate the work of exceptional individuals and
organisations dedicated to humanitarian causes.
Photos from the event were released on the royal family’s official Instagram
account, accompanied by a statement from Palace officials. The message read:
“Thank you to the exceptional individuals and organisations contributing
towards humanitarian efforts across the globe.”
The reception also commemorated the anniversaries of four major global
charities: @IHP_UK, @ShelterBoxUK, @IslamicReliefUK, and @ChristianAidUK.
During the event, Their Majesties viewed displays highlighting the
achievements of these charities, along with a special collection of images
from the @DisastersEmergencyCommittee, showcasing vital humanitarian work
worldwide.
