Following her appearance at the state banquet, Catherine has cleared her royal schedule.

Princess of Wales steps back to prioritise recovery after fulfilling key
role at Macron visit

Following her elegant appearance at the State Banquet for French President
Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte, the Princess of Wales has reportedly
cleared a significant portion of her royal calendar to focus on her continued
recovery.

Catherine, who has been undergoing cancer treatment, took part in the formal
State Visit at Windsor Castle earlier this week, marking one of her most
high-profile public appearances since stepping back from duties earlier this
year. Dressed in a striking red silk cape gown by Sarah Burton for Givenchy
and wearing the iconic Lover’s Knot tiara once favoured by Princess Diana, the
future Queen captivated royal watchers.

However, sources close to the palace reveal that, despite her increasing
public visibility, Catherine has made the decision to scale back again. “There
are a couple of key events in the diary before some time is blocked off,” a
royal insider told Closer magazine. “But discussions are currently taking
place about whether Kate should attend. A call will be made nearer the time,
or even on the day.”

While she is still expected to attend Wimbledon, other engagements remain
uncertain. Prince William is said to be stepping up during this period,
allowing Catherine the space she needs to rest and fully regain her strength.

Palace sources have also noted that there is no pressure being placed on the
Princess to resume a full schedule. “Kate is pivotal to the monarchy. She’s
extremely popular with the British public,” one insider said. “She’ll be given
all the time she needs to rest and recharge, because there’s certainly a long
road ahead – and they can’t do it without her.”

The update comes shortly after Catherine candidly spoke about the emotional
challenges she has faced post-treatment. “You put on a sort of brave face,
stoicism through treatment… but actually the phase afterwards is really,
really difficult,” she admitted during a recent hospital visit. “You’re not
necessarily under the clinical team any longer, but you’re not able to
function normally at home as you perhaps once used to.”

As the Princess takes time to prioritise her health, her continued grace and
resilience remain deeply admired by both the public and the royal household.
