Harry considers British education for Archie and Lilibet, signaling a new chapter in the UK

Duke of Sussex reportedly hopes to give his children a taste of his homeland through future schooling plans

Prince Harry is reportedly laying the groundwork for his children, Archie and Lilibet, to mark an important milestone by possibly returning to the UK for part of their education.

The Duke of Sussex, currently based in California, is said to be interested in giving his children a British academic experience, despite their early years being spent in the U.S. According to Grant Harrold, a former royal butler to King Charles, Harry is “quite keen” on the idea of Archie, six, and Lilibet, four, attending school in Britain, particularly when they reach university age.

“It’s very likely and completely possible,” Harrold told Hello! magazine, noting that while the children may continue their early schooling in Montecito, their father’s roots may influence future decisions. “If they have their younger education in America, I’m sure their father will be quite keen to have a bit of a British education. But then it depends on how the relationship is with the rest of the family when the time comes.”

This development comes amid behind-the-scenes talks that hint at a potential reconciliation between Harry and King Charles. A quiet meeting between Harry’s top aides and the King’s communications secretary took place recently at a discreet London club near Clarence House. The informal discussions, now being dubbed a “secret peace summit,” have reignited hopes of a thaw in royal relations.

While there’s no official confirmation yet, speculation is growing that Archie and Lilibet could eventually make their UK debut in a more meaningful and lasting way—through their education.
