Duke of Sussex reportedly frustrated as Meghan Markle pushes forward with new deals and ventures
Prince Harry appears to be struggling to find a sense of direction and purpose in Montecito, while Meghan Markle’s ventures continue to gather momentum. Once a highly visible figure through his royal duties and charitable work, the Duke of Sussex is now facing increasing frustration over missed opportunities.
Royal experts suggest that Harry’s transition away from public life has left him searching for meaning and fulfilment. “Prince Harry’s life is characterised by frustration, lack of clear achievement and his persistent struggle to carve out anything either lucrative or fulfilling,” royal commentator Hilary Fordwich told Fox News Digital.
While Harry remains in a state of uncertainty, Meghan has pressed ahead with several high-profile projects. She recently relaunched her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, and has secured a renewed partnership with Netflix. Her podcast also found moderate success, ensuring she remains a regular in the media spotlight.
In contrast, Harry’s efforts have so far failed to deliver a lasting impact or financial independence. According to Fordwich, the Duke’s popularity has declined significantly in both the UK and the US. She added that he often feels homesick and disconnected from his past, especially his military ties and long-standing friendships in Britain.
Observers believe things may have unfolded differently had Harry remained a working royal or maintained a closer relationship with his father, King Charles, who is currently undergoing cancer treatment. Instead, he finds himself sidelined, watching opportunities slip away.
While Harry grapples with what might have been, Meghan continues to build her presence with confidence, seemingly undeterred by the challenges surrounding them.
