Royal couple thank crowds after charming family appearance at King
Charles’s birthday parade
Prince William and Catherine delighted royal fans by sharing a touching
Instagram post following their family’s appearance at this year’s Trooping the
Colour, held in honour of King Charles’s official birthday.
Joined by their children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince
Louis—the Prince and Princess of Wales waved to cheering crowds as they rode
down the Mall in the Ascot Landau carriage.
The couple posted a family photo with the caption: “Another brilliant day at
Trooping the Colour for His Majesty’s Birthday Parade. Thank you to everybody
who came, and to all those who took part.”
The 14th June event stood out for several reasons: Catherine and Charlotte
twinned in elegant aqua blue ensembles, while George and Louis looked dapper
in matching suits with red ties.
Prince Louis once again charmed onlookers with his familiar toothless grin,
and Charlotte shared a sweet moment with her mother during the procession.
Meanwhile, Prince George drew attention with a noticeably shorter haircut, a
change from his recent VE Day appearance.
The day concluded with the family joining King Charles, Queen Camilla, and
other senior royals on the Buckingham Palace balcony to watch the traditional
military flypast.
