Kensington Palace highlights future King’s environmental focus in latest
royal update
Prince William has shared a powerful statement on climate change following the
reception of a new honorary title during his official visit to Estonia.
As part of his solo royal tour, the Prince of Wales visited the Cleantech
Association, where he learned about innovative projects aimed at addressing
global environmental challenges.
Kensington Palace released photos from the engagement along with William’s
message:
“Great to see how Cleantech Association is leading the charge in developing
innovative solutions to combat climate change.”
He continued, “The global adoption of renewable energy has never been more
urgent, and it’s clear that these new technologies are central to the
transition to a cleaner, more secure energy future.”
The Palace added, “Today’s visit comes at a time of great change in energy
security for the Baltic states, with Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania’s recent
move to European electricity supply.”
The update came shortly after royal commentator Rebecca English playfully
nicknamed William the “King of selfies” after he was seen warmly posing with
fans during a walkabout in the city.
The engagement underscores Prince William’s growing leadership in climate
advocacy and his deepening role on the international stage as future King.
