The Duchess of Sussex, who recently announced the rebranding of her
venture—formerly American Riviera Orchard—alongside the release date for her
Netflix cooking show, has faced comparisons to Paltrow’s wellness empire,
Goop. Experts speculated that Meghan was attempting to mirror the Hollywood
star’s business model.

Addressing the speculation for the first time, Paltrow dismissed any notion of
competition in an interview with Vanity Fair, stating, “When there’s noise
about certain women in the culture, I always have a strong instinct to stand
up for them.” She added, “I was raised to see other women as friends, not
foes. There’s always more than enough to go around.”

Just hours after Paltrow’s remarks, Meghan posted a serene image of herself
gardening on her brand’s official page, captioned “Daily rituals,” appearing
to embrace the message of solidarity.

With Paltrow offering a vote of confidence, Meghan seems to be focusing on the
positives as she prepares for the official launch of As Ever in Spring 2025.
