The Prince of Wales reveals unusual habit when watching Aston Villa
matches
Prince William has made a surprising confession about his relationship with
his children, revealing a quirky superstition he follows when watching Aston
Villa games.
The Prince of Wales, a lifelong supporter of the Birmingham-based football
club, admitted to rearranging his children in the house during matches in an
attempt to bring good luck.
“If I’m home alone with the children, I probably don’t have the pre-match
pint, but I do have a bit of superstition about where I sit when I’m watching
them,” he told The Sun.
William further admitted: “If we’re not doing very well, I start moving round
the house quite quickly and I put the children in different positions hoping
that’s going to change our luck.”
Despite his strong allegiance to Aston Villa, William does not pressure his
children to support the club. However, his eldest son has been spotted
cheering alongside him at matches this season.
William’s love for the Premier League team began in childhood when family
friends introduced him to their matches, a passion he has carried into
adulthood.
